British doctors have established a newphobia - fear to know your own weight. As revealed by a studyconducted by the Company Co-Operative Pharmacy among 3000inhabitants of the island, 20% tread carefully to avoid the scales.Downside is that some of them are obese, but are convinced that their weight is normal. Overweight was found in 65% ofrespondents. Medics are worried,because if people do not know they are in the initial stage of obesity and doing nothing for prevention, they may miss the moment and that mean comorbidities will arise.
